Getting sorted before Christmas!

I think I have said before - where the hell as this year gone too? I really don't believe it's like less than five weeks to go. I have not even started, but that's for another blog!

So this time of year like every one else I am normally thinking about or have started sorting the living room out for the tree(s) to go up.

The last couple of years I have had a craft cupboard down in the living room!

I know it looks a tad messy.  Also yes there is a Blue Snail on top he's called Luke..

Those couple of years I have been moving my craft cupboard upstairs in to my room until the décos are down! #SadTimes

This year is just the same as last. But first I needed to get a move on with sorting out the tubs in the cupboard, before moving it upstairs.

I am not like most crafters any more. I use to keep every single piece of paper.  I now sort out every couple of months and get rid of the un wanted paper.

Now I have sorted my cupboard out. It is now up stair's, I would take a picture but I have pressys on top that are waiting to be wrapped!

Autumn Treats

Hello everyone!!
Today as normal was the boring old food shop day!  If your anythink like me, I hate food shop day with a passion. I get so stressed out its unbelievable - no wait it is believable just ask my mum. I think for me and everyone its the whole experience and then its the unpacking once home.

So I firstly went into Sainsburys and then Morrison's...

I'm not if you saw last night (12th) corrie.. Well Sainsburys released their Christmas advert.... The advert tells the true story of 1914 Christmas day match in no mans land between our lads and Germany!

If you missed or haven't seen the advert here it is.

If you can not get the video above to work. Here is a link to Sainsburys Christmas Advert

For me I love this advert, so, so touching and moving..

So today my main aim was to try and get some of the chocolate that was shown in the advert! Sad but true...

I got just inside the door and there was a display. I didn't think at the time to get a picture of the display!

Here is the Chocolate

The chocolate is being sold for a £1 and all profit made is going to the royal British legion - poppy appeal!

Then I saw Sainsburys had in store more Christmas tops. At first I didn't think much of them until.. Oh My God look what I found!!

It is a t-shirt

I love!!!!! The Coca-Cola holidays are coming advert. . . .  I think we all look forward to seeing the ad.

I should say this t-shirt is found in the men's clothing department of the store...

One thing I have learnt with shops and their sizes, are not true to the size it says!
Which is a annoying, to say the lease.

After Sainsburys I went to Morrison's. To get the rest of my shopping. Plus I'm doing their Christmas Bonus spend £40 for six weeks (plus using their new Match and more card)  to get £25 back off my Christmas Shop..

One thing I had to pick up was washing tablets!  So I got these for £3.00

I know boring right? I only buy Surf when its on offer. I Normally buy Morrison's own..

Then I saw this, next to them!

Its Surf own take on 'Fifty Shades Of'.
Yep has you guess I just had to have these.. I shouldn't say this but I love what it says on the bottom of the packet.

After I finished at Morrison's it was time to go home and un pack...

Please let me know what you thought of my first none gardening/nature or crafting blog post?

The Re-Vamp

I have come to a nature stop with the decluttering... So now I am turning my attention to revamping the house.. I mean give it a lick of paint fresh it up. Put life back into this place...

I know its going to be a long and slow revamp... That's not going to be done in a flash... But I will get there, I know!!!

The first part - The hallway and landing!

When we first moved in over ten years ago. The walls in the hallway and landing was a weird colour combo bottom part a weird mix pink and the top was blue... So the first week we painted it lilac.
..

So July time this year I wanted to start redecorating... Mum decided on the colour, which I agree with...

She decided WHITE! I'm in the middle paint the hallway and landing white..... I'm going to re frame the pictures in black frames!

I will write soon how I get on....

Been A While

I know it's been a while since I last wrote anything.  My little plan did not go to plan. . . . I think I just got on with it.

I have now stopped, just having a rest before the next bit - which is the loft!  Which I am kind of not looking forward too.. But on the other hand I'm looking forward to it! I think you will get what I'm getting at!

While I was decluttering I sent car after car load of stuff for the charity shop. Tell you the true I can not tell you how many car loads I took... But I felt like at one point I was living there.. The two charity shops I pick was Sue Ryder and Weldmar...

This is just one of the car loads!

I didn't just live at my local charity shops, I also lived at my local recycling centre. With box's after box's of paper and card and other recyclable items.

The picture above is just some of the box's I took.

Please bare with me now as I'm not sure when I will start the next bit this year! I might do some more in the house before going up in the loft, who knows we'll see what happens..

Just Before Christmas Sort Out

Why originally did I start this blog. Well you see the is I have trouble with letting go of things, so I gathered a lot, hoarding a lot from my past and it's time to let go. Time to declutter which I know is going to be the hardest part.

I'm  going to try and use my grandmothers philosophy 'if you don't use it in 12months, out it goes'.

Oh gosh what have I started?

My plan is each day I do some decluttering I will write about. I hope I won't bore you all to death!

16/01/2014

My first decluttering session happen just before Christmas, two week before!

I actually found it quite easy to get rid of things. The things I was mainly getting rid of was paper and card board, the things I guess I've collected because I have thought I would use - maybe one day you never know if you may need it. My grandfather was like this but his obsession was with wood, sadly I never got to meet him.

I also found I had some bits for the local charity shop, which I was naughty and held onto the items until after Christmas.  Also I took thirteen bag's (yep I know it seems a lot thirteen) went up to the local recycling....

Aren't people are weird! Don't mean it in a bad way, but I found while I was up the recycling place.. People just looked and stared or watch! Maybe they are just very sad and have no life!

Anyway enough about that for now...
