2021 Clear out

Hello All - I hope we are all doing great! If not I wish you a speedy recovery.

Last year I wrote about restarting my challenge of #busybeeclearout

My reason for doing this was over the past two years or more I have had a wee bit of a shopping spree with The Body Shop (My Favourite Shop) and Avon (some of my favourite perfume is from Avon).

Another thing is I have been sorting out a lot, decluttering that's including wellbeing products that are out of date. Also trying to get my life sorted. I still struggle with getting my sleep pattern under control, I went two weeks being asleep by half twelve and now it's gone to pot again.

I am now trying to reset myself, which is funny as it is Monday morning 06:40am and I am yet to go to sleep. This is my second night in a week of no sleep, hopefully this will change soon.

So how do you know when something is out of date?

Here's how - see the little jar with the lid open on the picture below. It tells you how many months you have before the product goes off or out of date once open.

My hair products are big bottles even some of my shower gel is, I also sometimes use soap instead of shower gel, so you will rarely see them used up.

In September and October - amongst everything I was sad to use up my favourite perfume Far Away Rebel and the Ginger body yoghurt..

The Himalayan Charcoal face mask is sadly out of date, to be honest I believe it is two years out of date.

From September to December below is exactly what I used up, may not seem a lot.

What I exactly used up

1:  Avons - Far Away Rebel
2: Nivea 48hs Roll on
3: The Body Shop - Body butter Berry Bon Bon
4: Avons - Incandissence
5: The Body Shop -  Ginger body yoghurt
6: The Body Shop  - British Rose Soap
7: Strawberry shampoo
8: Candy cane Body butter

Thank you for stopping by and reading my post.

Take care

#busybeeclearout 2021 Reset

Hello Everyone - hope everyone is well. Back in 2016 I started a challenge #busybeeclearout on crafting stuff and toiletries. Well I have come to the conclusion the crafting stuff will be a loosing battle if I keep trying. Best not keep talking about it, has it is a saw point in my house...

The toiletries is definitely my main area to tackle, don't ask. Over the past 18 months or more I have had a wee bit of a shopping spree with The Body Shop (My Favourite Shop) and Avon ( some of my favourite perfume is from there). Also my godmother is my Rep...

Even tho during the 18 months I have used a lot up, I seem to have got a lot more. Maybe shopping is my way of distressing!

So my aim is to post nearly every month about what I have used up, and if I will buy it again.

So watch out for #busybeeclearout

The second item I used up on the 15th of July is from 'Beauticology Orange bath/shower gel...

19th of July - Yay,,,, I finally got through this one, it as took me about a year to use up - 'Yardley - lily of the valley body lotion. I am now on my last bottle, let's see how long it takes me to use it up....

#busybeeclearout

I know it's been a while since I have done a #busybeeclearout.... I have not used much up as most of what I have are in big bottles like shampoo and conditioner, even my shower gel.

In February  I finally used up my favourite tub of body butter from The Body Shop that my godmother bought me..

I also used up one of many of lip glosses I have...
I'm also hoping The Body shop will still have have the butter.

In April all I used up was some handbag perfume from Avon.

In May I used up some body spray, which again I have loads. I also used up my favourite Juicy Couture handbag perfume.

The last item in the picture is Flutter a vegan body butter from Superdrug I believe it only comes in store at Christmas..

Then in June I used up my last Avon handbag perfume and of course I used up my roll on.

Let's see how I get on next month..

Post from 2016 that was posted and some how ended back in my draft file.

Hey it's the end of the month let's see how I did with my goal of #busybeeclearout

Firstly if you follow me on twitter, I am sorry I haven't been tweeting....

So the first few things I got through is some shower products.

The first one in the picture below ' Balance Me' was free with a magazine. I'm trying to think which magazine maybe it was the Cosmopolitan.

Next one is the 'Palmolive Cherry Blossom' this one of my favourite products and you will see it a lot, just warning!!

The third little one was from a gift set...

So my next few items are.
The first one of my newly favourite hand creams is 'L'Occitane - Rose' honestly I got this (again) free with a magazine called Red.. The hand cream is normally £8 from L'Occitane .

But I do know for sure I will at some point rebuy this hand cream at some point later in the year.

The next one is 'Nivea lip gloss' again you will see this a lot.

Last but not lease is 'Ricola' my mum got this free with her 'Sainsburys Magazine', she doesn't like them so I got them...

Not really a great start right?

Let's hope next month is a better one..

Don't forget to follow me on Twitter or Facebook..

My Aim for 2016

So if you read my other blog Little Miss Crafting Bee you will know how I have set myself a very serious crafting aim .

  1. To stop adding to my craft stash , so no YouTube videos of hauls from me for a while!
  2. To use up as much craft stock as possible
  3. To not impulse buy - stop and think do I need this really! If no don't buy it

Which you can read about by clicking the link at the top ∆.

But I do have another aim this year.

This is just a small amount of what I have. I have a lot down stairs in the bathroom and most likely more dotted around my room..

So my aim is to use all what I have up. I'm hoping to use up all the gifts from the last couple of years... I want to clear out and start a new.

I'm trying to refocus on a few things, a few personal thing's.

My plan is to post at the end of each month, what I have used up!

I will also be using the hastag #BusyBeeClearOut throughout my social networking pages, I think I will post more on twitter!

So please fill free to leave me a message or follow me on twitter @dorsetbotanybee
